Maddie came home last night quite happy and hungry. She ate her dinner, took all her medicine and snoozed on the end of our bed all night. She is going to be okay!!
This morning she decided that she did not belong home with puppies-she in fact belonged at work with Jeff. She insisted on leaving with him and Sadie (the yellow lab that goes to work with him every day) and has pretty much been running the show all day. There is a good chance that now that she has discovered that getting in this vehicle ALSO includes a stop at the biscuit cart (AKA coffee cart) she may continue to be a "working dog" from this day forward. I will keep you updated on her long term goals--stay at home dog...or working stiff.
I will try and post again later--planning halibut and something (maybe purple potatoes and sauteed cabbage) but who knows what will sound good then!
maddi...at work??? what in the world!! she's going through a mid-life crisis i think!! poor thing, maybe she will like work? nit sure what she'll do all day...you'll have to keep me posted!! can't wait to see some purple cabbage pics!:D xoxo
ReplyDeleteI know-the world is spinning off kilter for the Madster. But-I don't have any purple cabbage-just purple potatoes and GREEN cabbage. A bit boring but...
